    Comedian

    Neil D’Astolfo is an actor, comedian and writer based in New York. Neil was nominated for an Off-Broadway Alliance Award for his critically-acclaimed solo show Mister Miss America. Other Theater: The Comedy of Errors, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (CSC). New works at EST, NYSAF, NYTW, WP Theater, etc. TV/Film: “And Just Like That…,”Stephen Colbert Presents Tooning Out the News,” “Our Cartoon President,” “High Fidelity,” “The Path,” “Fire Island.” Neil is a house performer at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and a proud volunteer at The 52nd Street Project.     Lead Actress

    Tess Frazer has originated roles in world premieres of The Perplexed by Richard Greenberg (MTC), Mary Page Marlowe by Tracy Letts (Steppenwolf and Second Stage), Love All by Anna Deavere Smith (workshop), and This World of Tomorrow by Tom Hanks (workshop at The Shed). Other theatre: Noises Off, The Winter’s Tale, Passion of Dracula, The Unexpected Guest, Only God Knows, The Poor of New York, All My Sons, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, & This Property is Condemned. TV & Film: “FBI Most Wanted” (CBS), Café Society, Write When You Get Work, Fan Girl, and “Godless” on Netflix. Tess is currently on a house improv team at Magnet Theater called Dance Factory. She has also written and performed her own stand up comedy, so far seen in some bar rooms, Gotham & Broadway Comedy Clubs.

    Eddie Kaye Thomas will next appear in Ryan Murphy’s series “The Beauty” as well as the upcoming sports comedy The Roaring Game opposite Mickey Rourke. He was most recently seen on Emmy Award-winning comedy “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. Previous credits include American Pie, Harold & Kumar, “Scorpion”, “American Dad”, “Prodigal Son”, “Outmatched”, “This Is Us”, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, “How to Make it in America”, “‘Til Death”, “Family Guy”, and “CSI”. Theater credits include The Underpants (The Old Globe), Golden Age (MTC), The Submission (MCC), Parfumerie (Wallis Annenberg), The Bachelorette (Second Stage), and Dog Sees God (Century Center).

  • TORREY TOWNSEND

    Playwright

    Torrey Townsend is a Brooklyn-based playwright known for bold experimentation with theatrical form and sharp critiques of power structures within American society and the arts. His play The Workshop (2017) premiered to unanimous critical acclaim, earning a New York Times Critic’s Pick, Voice Choice, and TONY Recommendation. In 2021, his play Off Broadway had a virtual premiere directed by Robert O’Hara and produced by Jeremy O. Harris, also receiving a New York Times Critic’s Pick. His short play Executioners, part of the collection One Room (2020), was directed by Celine Song and earned another New York Times Critic’s Pick. Night Workers (2018) was developed and presented at Long Wharf Theatre's Contemporary American Voices Festival. From 2014 to 2015, he produced A Night Out, a two-year site-specific project in Brooklyn. He is currently adapting Jonathan Lethem’s novel The Arrest into a feature film and has been commissioned by Andrew Morrison, producer of The Brutalist (2024), to adapt Colin Wilson's 1967 cult classic novel The Mind Parasites into a feature film in collaboration with director Nathan Silver. He is represented by WME.

    Director

    Sarah Hughes is a director of new plays, radical adaptations, and devised work. Recent: A Woman Among Women by Julia May Jonas (The Bushwick Starr, NYT Critics Pick), Daphne by Renae Simone Jarrett (LCT3, Obie for design), Galatea by MJ Kaufman (Brooklyn Bridge Park), His Chest Is Only Skeleton by Julia Izumi (Playwrights Horizons). Sarah is an Associated Artist of New Georges and Target Margin Theater, worked for many years with Elevator Repair Service, and has taught at Dartmouth College, Purchase College, and NYU. As Director of Artistic Programming at Theatre Row, she created the Kitchen Sink Residency for new work development. Drama League/NYSAF Beatrice Terry Resident, O'Neill National Directors Fellow, WP Theater Lab Member, Clubbed Thumb Directing Fellow, Mercury Store Lead Artist, SDCF Barbara Whitman Award Finalist. She lives in Brooklyn with her partner and two young children.

    Scenic Design

    Frank J. Oliva is an award-winning Cuban-American stage designer. Recent work includes Well, I’ll Let You Go (Irondale), Dilaria (DR2), The Art of Leaving (Signature) and A Knock on the Roof (NYTW and Royal Court). Numerous additional credits in New York, regionally and internationally.  Frank won the 2022 Opera America Director/Designer Prize and is the recipient of a Carbonell and 3 Silver Palm Awards, alongside Emmy, Audelco, Drama Desk and 2 Henry Hewes award nominations. His work was exhibited at the Prague Quadrennial in 2019 and 2023. Frank trained in theatre design at NYU Tisch.  www.frankjoliva.com

    Dramaturg

    Peter James Cook wrote his undergrad thesis on Bruntmole, and is proud to be in the circle of trust around this play. As a director, he has presented work at the Edinburgh, New York and Philadelphia Fringe Festivals, Ars Nova, Joe’s Pub, The Brick, Dixon Place, P.S. 122, The Hangar, and Playhouse on Park. He has directed for companies including Virgin Voyages, Lesser America, The Play Company and Opera Theater of Yale College, and developed work at Mercury Store and the Orchard Project. He is a Drama League directing fellow, and Artistic Associate at Theatre for a New Audience.

    Producer

    Lucas Katler is a Tony Award®-winning producer who develops innovative theatrical projects. Broadway: Merrily We Roll Along (Best Revival Tony Award®), Slave Play (the second most Tony Award®-nominated play in Broadway history), POTUS (BroadwayWorld Audience Pick for Best Play of 2022), and David Byrne and Fat Boy Slim’s groundbreaking Here Lies Love. Luke also produced the world premieres of Off Broadway (NYT Critic's Pick), directed by Robert O'Hara, for Broadstream in association with Jeremy O. Harris, Safety Not Guaranteed at BAM, written by Nick Blaemire and Guster's Ryan Miller and directed by Lee Sunday Evans, and King of Pangea at King’s Head Theatre, written by Martin Storrow and directed by Richard Israel. Luke is currently working to build a premier mid-size theater in Brooklyn, The Empyrean Club, focused on next-gen theatergoing.     Grace Porter (she/her) is a stage manager, intimacy director, and queer theatre artist. She's so excited to be working with this team on Jewish Plot! She spent the summer at the Utah Shakespeare Festival as the Production Stage Manager for the Greenshows and Words Cubed Play Festival. When not at the theatre, Grace enjoys crocheting, sewing, and hanging out with her crabby old cat, Q-tip. Grace's favorite play is Angels in America by Tony Kushner.     Skylar Back is a NYC-based theatre and television designer, manager, and producer.     Peter Mills Weiss is a theater artist based in Brooklyn, NY. He has been nominated for a Henry Hewes Design Award and a New York Drama Critic’s Circle Award. He is a former member of the Soho Rep Writer Director Lab, and the Public Theater Devised Theater Working Group. His work has been presented locally at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, Soho Rep, Ars Nova, and Under the Radar Festival, and internationally as part of the Radikal Jung Festival at the Munchen Volkstheater, and most recently at the Noorderzon Festival Groningen.

    Ali Sousa is a Brooklyn-based Cuban-American creative producer, dramaturg, and theater administrator. Producing: Richard II (UrbanStages), Spring Awakening (Irondale). Previously: NYTW, TT Partners, Fourthwall Theatrical, Second Stage, Atlantic Theater Company.     Robin Margolis works as a sound designer and archival producer at the intersection of experimental theater, music, film, and improvised performance. Ze has ongoing collaborations with Object Collection, most recently Suppose Beautiful Madeline Harvey at La MaMa, and the Million Underscores. Ze provides technical & creative support to productions at the Brick and returns as venue supervisor for its 2026 Exponential Festival productions.

    Fight Choreography

    Wyatt King is a performer, theatre-maker, and educator from the Willamette Valley. Based in NYC, he is currently pursuing an MA in Educational Theatre at NYU and performing new works with PlayGround. Previous fight choreography credits include Bonnie & Clyde at Stagedoor Manor and The Word of the Day at Tisch. Wyatt continuously strives to empower people’s voices and generate change through the art he makes.     Production Assistant

    Luke Gerdeman is a junior at Dartmouth College, majoring in theatre and quantitative social science. He has performed in readings with Northern Stage, worked at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, and currently serves as the production manager for the Dartmouth Rude Mechanicals (prev. artistic director). SM: Be the Boy (The Tank), The Late Wedding (Dartmouth). Director: Comedy of Errors (Rude Mechs), Greek Drama Showcase (Dartmouth Dept. of Classics).     Music Associate

    Daniel Lin (he/him) is a multi-disciplinary cellist, pianist, improviser, composer, and memory worker. Daniel is active in jazz and Black Creative Music communities, most recently performing with Bill Cole, Taylor Ho Bynum, Ras Moshe, Warren Smith, Bill Lowe, Tomeka Reid, Alexander Hawkins, Joseph Daley, Althea SullyCole, Lisette Santiago, and Eli Hecht. His practice emphasizes collective improvisation and deep listening, drawing inspiration from the music’s histories of liberation, social justice, and radical organization and solidarities. Now based in Baltimore, MD, he spends his time playing/composing music, acting/music directing for theater, and thinking about archives.
